How to make an appointment for localized deep cleaning service?
- 1) After completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Toby will then begin matching you with a cleaner who aligns with your service goals.
- 2) Once the right match is found, you will receive a booking success confirmation email. However, the matching process is influenced by various factors (e.g., service location and schedule), and a successful match is not guaranteed.
- 3) If Toby cannot find an available cleaner, you will be notified either through a phone call or an email about the unsuccessful booking. If you choose not to reschedule, any authorised payment will be promptly refunded to your original payment method.
Can I cancel or modify the booking of house cleaning service after purchasing?
- Yes, you can, but the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellation - You need to cancel at least one business day before the service usage time. You will be charged a $100 administrative fee for cancellation, and the remaining balance of the service will be refunded within 7-14 business days. If you cancel on the day of the service, no refund will be given. We suggest you continue to let the service personnel serve you.
Changes - We only accept changes made at least one business day before the service usage time, and a $50 administrative fee will be charged for each change in service. If you request changes on the day of the service, your request will not be accepted. We suggest you continue to let the service personnel serve you.
If we are unable to successfully match a service personnel, and you request to change before the service usage time, you can change the service date and time for free.

- The charges for the Supreme Deep Cleaning Package vary depending on the size of the unit and whether it is unfurnished or furnished. For example, larger homes and those with furniture require more cleaning time and staff, resulting in higher fees. Do I have to purchase insurance for deep home cleaners?
- HelloToby has purchased a basic insurance plan for all home service personnel. However, since we are a platform matching jobs for service providers, we recommend that you purchase the insurance for home cleaners according to the Employees' Compensation Ordinance.
Do they need to provide professional cleaning equipment?
- Supreme Cleaning Service: Professional cleaning equipment provided (no need for clients to prepare cleaning tools):

Is there an additional charge for house deep cleaning services on Saturdays and Sundays?
- Supreme Deep Cleaning Service:
- Standard rates apply from Monday to Friday. Additional charges apply in the following cases:
- An extra HK$300 surcharge applies on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- The month before Chinese New Year and the two weeks after are considered peak cleaning season, with additional charges. Rates vary annually and will follow the pricing listed on hellotoby.com.
- Economy Deep Cleaning:
- Pricing is based on the Chinese New Year period (no additional charges for weekends or public holidays).
What happens if household items are damaged during the service?
- To prevent accidents, please store and secure valuable items before the service personnel arrive. Additionally, fragile items should be kept or moved in advance. If a customer discovers any damage to items caused by negligence of the service personnel matched by our company, the maximum compensation provided by our company will be HKD $300. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours; otherwise, they will not be processed. If you require professional air-conditioner cleaning services, you can independently purchase this service through our website or mobile app.
Reminder before the deep home cleaner comes
- Please ensure you are attentive to your doorbell or phone notifications so that you can promptly admit our service providers. If customers do not answer the door upon the provider's arrival, the provider will wait in the vicinity for up to 45 minutes.
- If after this waiting period the door remains unanswered, the service providers reserve the right to depart and consider the service terminated. Should customers respond after the 45-minute mark but within the booked timeframe, the service will proceed as initially scheduled.
- We will not entertain any refunds or rescheduling for these occurrences. For any adjustments to the service, please contact us at 3703 3250 during business hours at least one business day prior to the scheduled service date.

Do I have to purchase Workers' Compensation Insurance for the house cleaner?
According to Section 40 of the Employees' Compensation Ordinance, all employers (including contractors and sub-contractors) are required to take out insurance policies to cover their liabilities both under the Ordinance and at common law for injuries at work in respect of all their employees, irrespective of the length of employment contract or working hours, full-time or part-time, permanent job or temporary employment.
